Independence Day celebrations in Lviv will start on August 22 – the annual International Folklore Festival “Etnovir” will take place here until August 26, which will kick off the celebration in the city. The fourth International Festival will be held during the holidays, dedicated to the famous director Sergei Paradzhanov on Lewandivka, where various lectures, discussions, workshops for children and adults, music, a concert for Independence Day and many more will be organized.

On Independence Day, August 23 and 24, in Godovitsa, an interesting art project will take place near Lviv. Near the walls of the abandoned church, musicians from the Ukrainian Festival Orchestra, conducted by the director of the Lviv House of Organ Music Ivan Ostapovich, will give a concert. In particular, the world premiere of Pavel Senica’s Second Symphony will sound.
